Research: Carbon Curing to Boost Early Strength of Low Carbon-Footprint Concrete

Research Focus: For this project, carbon dioxide snowflakes will be added to concrete to boost the early age strength of concrete. Compressive strength testing will be used to determine if the strength of the concrete has increased.

Responsibilities: For this project, my responsibilities include designing the concrete mixture, planning and scheduling tasks, and performing all tests. The tests being performed include batching, mixing, compressive strength testing, and isothermal calorimetry. I will also be responsible for analyzing all data and writing a paper on my findings.
