About

My major is Civil Engineering. I am currently researching how carbon dioxide can affect the early-age strength of concrete. This is my senior and I plan to graduate in May of 2025.

I have participated in internships between each year of my undergraduate degree. My first internship was with S.W. Cole Engineering in 2022. Here was when I was first introduced to the world of concrete. I learned various testing methods used in the industry to measure the properties of concrete and soils.

My second internship was with The Middlesex Corporation. Here I learned about what it takes to manage a large construction project. For this internship, I was at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine.

In my third and final internship, I returned to work with the Middlesex Corporation on a Bridge Bundle Job in Andover, Massachusetts. For this internship, I learned about all the planning that goes into large construction projects prior to construction beginning. I worked on getting quotes from subcontractors, getting quotes on materials, scheduling, and submittal documents.
